Wopfinger joins ROMCIM, expanding urban reach in Romania
Bucharest, 02.04.2026 —Wopfinger, a readymixed concrete producer with six strategically located plants across Cluj, Brașov, Constanța, and Bucharest has become part of ROMCIM, a CRH Company.
The addition of Wopfinger strengthens ROMCIM’s readymix concrete capabilities, bringing enhanced proximity to customers, service responsiveness and delivery capabilities in some of Romania’s most dynamic and fast-growing urban areas.
The move also broadens ROMCIM’s capacity to support customers delivering critical infrastructure, non‑residential and industrial developments, and residential construction projects across Romania, marking an important step in the company’s ongoing strategy to expand its nationwide presence.
The integration provides the opportunity for ROMCIM to expand the availability of CEVO, the range of lower‑CO₂ cement and concrete solutions designed to support the growing demand for high‑performance, low carbon construction materials in Romania.
